"I have been
mountain and ski guiding for over 10 years in my home
country New Zealand and around the world. For the past 5
years I have been Chief Guide of Harris Mountains
Heliskiing, New Zealand's largest heli-ski company. We are
specialising in running private heli-ski charters in New
Zealand and around the world from Alaska to Siberia! In New
Zealand's summer months we focus on running privately
guided trips in the Southern Alps from our base in Lake
Wanaka in the centre of the South Island.My wife Laetitia
and I split our time between our homes in Wanaka and
Chamonix and when in Europe enjoy ski guiding around the
Chamonix region and sharing the famous Haute Route ski
traverse with our clients.
We are also involved with many film and video projects and
have produced our own videos as well as worked in locations
and safety on feature films. We also provide a safety and
training consultancy
service".
I am actively involved in the training and assessing of
guides and am currently the Vice President of the New
Zealand Mountain Guides Association.
