Aaron grew up in the small
mountain town of Revelstoke, BC. This is where he kindled
his love for the mountains in climbing and skiing trips
with his father at a young age. From here he moved to
Canmore, Alberta to per-sue his guiding and climbing
career, and this is where he lives today.
Aaron has spent the past 5 winter seasons guiding
heliskiing in Northern British Columbia as a lead guide. He
has also lead over 20 trips to the back country ski touring
lodges in the Selkirks, and Rockies. His guiding career has
also taken him to the European Alps for mountaineering, and
the Adirondacks of New York state for ice-climbing. Aside
from all of this he also runs his own guiding business
called Alpineview.
Aaron has a diploma in Adventure Tourism, is a professional
member of the Canadian Avalanche Association, and is also a
fully certified UIAGM/IFMGA mountain guide.
